I have the following mode settings based on 24 hour time format:
The modes change correctly during the day, but at midnight, the Night mode is updated to Morning, which is not the intended behaviour. It is like the mode manager is reset and the mode triggered by the earliest time is selected.
Here is a sample of the Mode Manager events for the last two days:
Screenshots of the Mode Manager and maybe the logs for around Midnight would be very helpful here to see how you have things set up.
Unfortunately as a new user you are temporarily restricted from posting pictures to prevent spam. That will change after you read and post a few times, or maybe we can get @bobbyD to change your account type to be a regular user.
Welcome aboard, the community will surely help you get this sorted out.
Thank you so much for your quick reply! Indeed, it looks like there are a lot of restrictions on my account. Posting links to the screenshots on my google drive account doesn't work either. I'll try again later. Thank you!
were you able to figure this out? I've got this issue as well, but in my case, at midnight it switches to day and then evening. I can't figure out why it is doing this and it is impacting some of my rule machine rules. Below are my Mode Manager settings along with the events showing the changes at midnight. Does anyone have any clue as to why it is doing this? I want it to remain in Night mode until Sunrise.
Please turn on logging in the app, so you can post a screenshot of those. Also, if you don't really need it, as you aren't using it, turn off Use Daily Settings.
Sure no problem, here is the main page for Mode Manager. And yes, I clicked Done after I made the changes. If it helps, I'm also on Hubitat version 2.3.0.124.
