Mode Manager unexpected error

Just received my Hubitat and thought I would start off integrating to my hue hub and setting up modes. Most of the hue integration went ok although one device has not been pulled in and yet is shown with a green tick still.

Then when setting up a mode and using the earlier of two times option as soon as I select sunrise as a time then I get the following error.

Unexpected Error

An unexpected error has occurred trying to load the app. Check Logs for more information.

Error: Cannot invoke method format() on null object

Logs donโ€™t appear to show anything. It doesnโ€™t make a difference if the first time or the second time is set to sunrise. It then seems to be unable to go back or continue. So I selected the settings wheel and removed the mode manager app and reinstalled to have the same thing occur every time.

Firmware was updated immediately prior.

I am wondering if you need to wait 12-24 hours for a Sunset / Sunrise to occur... But others are likely able to answer that more accurately than me.

I would suggest checking your Settings to make sure the local timezone has been set correctly:

Separately to this, you can also check the Location Events under the Logs page:

If these aren't being set, then it is a question for HE staff and hopefully a case of simply waiting for the events to roll around in the next 12 - 24 hours.

Sunrise/set should be recalculated at start up. There was a bug early on that created an error if you weren't migrating from the earlier version, but I believe it was corrected. May want to try adding your mode initially with just a time of day, hit done all the way out of Mode Manager, and then come back in and adjust it to include the earlier of criteria.

Many thanks the issue was that my Postcode hadn't been set although it was entered during the initial details. Once set it worked perfectly.
