I have tried to fix this by restarting, deleting and changing the values that define what time the modes change. I have read countless forums and still, have had no luck. If someone could help me understand this problem that would be great. I am on the most updated software release and have only a few devices on so far as I am in the process of merging from our old system.
To get help on something like this, you have to show us a screenshot of the setup page, and explain what isn't working. It's usually helpful to show logs also. To show logs, also use a screenshot, not copy/paste.
Sure, sorry here is a picture of the setup page. Essentially I have tried (on multiple attempts) to get the mode manger to work but It won't switch out of day mode. Oddly even when I allowed some of my rules to work with day mode they would not work so it seems to be the mode setup in general.
What is your current mode? If, by any chance, it is set to "Away" then none of your mode changes will occur.
It's currently stuck on day, I tried to switch it out of day by setting the time for evening manually but had no such luck. (Away mode is not activated)
I doubt that setting the time would work, as Mode Manager uses cron entries to trigger mode change when the clock rolls over a certain time. I suppose you could set the time to just before the scheduled change, and check that when it rolls over the time, the mode changes.

Okay, ill try that. I just enabled logging and will check back in tommorow.
