Mode Manager ignoring pushed button for return from Away?

I have Mode Manager configured to run modes on a daily schedule, plus recognizing a pushed button to come back from the away status. Schedule works fine, but the pushed button doesn't trigger a return from away - and the mode stays on away. What am I doing wrong?
