I have 4 hubs (in a single location - same LAN). I have them in a hub mesh set up. I want the mode to be managed by a single hub. I am wondering about the set up:
Should I install mode manager on the control hub and leave it off all the other hubs?
Should I install it on each hub and have them set up with the same parameters (seems silly to even have the feature in the Hub Mesh if this is the case)?
Do I have to have the same modes on each of the hubs (at least the names - maybe not the variables associated with each mode)?
You can set Hub Mesh to follow Mode changes of other hubs by using the Modes tab. See the note about uninstalling Mode Manager from the hubs in Follow Modes.
Thanks...I think I have it set up the correct way.
Each hub is following the control hub (basement hub in my situation). All the modes have been added to the other hubs and the mode manager is only running on the control hub (basement).
