Just migrated from Vera Plus to a C-8 Pro, and everything went well. But there is one thing that I just cannot get my arms around.
I have 5 Honeywell thermostats (2 T6 Pro z wave, 3 older z wave) that all installed, and are working well, including on their Dashboard. But when I want to see the events and go to Device or Logs options and select any of them, all I get is a blank screen.
What am I missing?
Thanks
Go to the device page and click on Events, you should see event (state) history.
If you want to see logs, you may need to specifically enable logging on the device page settings. Not all drivers will log to the syslog by default.
When I go to the Device page, pick any non-thermostat device listed there I get all the details, including the options for Events and Logs. With the thermostats, I get a complete empty web page with the page address pointing to my static Hubitat hub and the correct device ID.
But absolutely nothing shows.
Strange?
Check the system logs (logs on left side menu), it might be tossing an error.
I think I might have a possible answer. When I was starting this migration, I downloaded the Thermostat Controller 2.0 and selected all 5 of the thermostats. Could this be taking control and not allowing me to go to each thermostat? If so what happens if I delete that app?
Thanks
That should not be causing it, but also deleting the app will not hurt anything so you can try it if you want. If that app crated any "virtual" thermostat devices those would be deleted along with it, but any real devices should not be impacted.
You are right. I don't know why I included that app, but I deleted it and everything works perfectly now.
Thanks again for your assistance.

Well that is certainly strange. I think you are talking about the built in Thermostat Controller app? If you want to use the app you should be able to add it back again and use it, if it causes the same issue the devs will for sure want to know so they can fix it.
Yes, the built in one. I just didn't read it well enough to realize it was no use for the simple control I wanted. It does "integrate" the thermostats together especially is you are tying them to centralized sensors. So in that respect it should lock you out of independent adjustments.
