I just added a Minoston 2 channel plug (MP20Z) to my HE hub and it chose the Inovelli 2-Channel Plug drivers which is fine however it does not let me rename the two child devices called "Inovelli 2-Channel Plug Switch-1" and "Inovelli 2-Channel Plug Switch-2". Is this by design? If not how do I change them? I want to control these with Alexa and no one will ever remember those names or which is which. I had tried a ZOOZ double plug and although it has other issues I was able to change the names of the child devices with no problem. I am sure others have run into this before but i can't find any threads directly related. Any ideas how to change the names of the child devices?
You can't change the device name. Change the Device Label.
My mistake and thanks for pointing that out. The Device Labels were blank by default and I simply missed them. Got it now. Thanks again.
