Hello all
my setup:
Hubitat elevation hub
Homebridge, running on a 12 year old Mac Mini (w/max RAM & SSD) running Ubuntu w/homebridge-hubitat-tonesto7 v2.5.14 (and homebridge-config-ui-x v4.46.0)
I haven't had much issue adding Minoston MS11Z (I have 2) - which is on the Compatible Devices list.
I've added the Minoston MP20Z (Dual plug outlet, also on the CDL), it shows up on Hubitat Devices, works fine in the dashboard (I can turn it on/off with Tiles) but won't show up on Homebridge Accessories no matter how many times I bounce the HB. And since it isn't showing up in Homebridge, it doesn't show up in Home App on my phone.
Other than removing it and reinstalling it, I haven't dont much else and I've spent a lot of the day moving stuff off my Smartthings hub to Hubitat (my brain hurts).
anyway, send me ideas please. Attached is a pic of the device.
Did you expose it to the home bridge integration on HE?
The use of acronyms can get confusing, HE = Hubitat Elevation?
I am not sure if I have exposed it to Home Bridge Integration. How I got the MS11Z to show up on HB was:
Apps -> Choose Dashboard -> Click on 'Choose Devices' -> made sure my MS11z (and the other devices were checked
Dashboard -> added the tile for each Device
and now that I'm on it, only 2 things of 4 have made it over to HB.
my brain hurts.
So yes, HE is hubitat elevation. In order for a device to be seen on the Home Bridge integration in needs to be exposed to that app so that in can send the information to Home bridge.
To see a device on a dash board (native) it needs to be exposed to the hubitat dashboard.
To see a device on google/alexa, it must be exposed to the google integration or alexa skill.
So go to APPS, home bridge integration, and click on devices.
Thank you. I literally figured it out, then came back here and read your response. That home bridge integration step has been killing me all day (by forgetting to do it). They(the devices) are on my Home App (Homekit) now.
