Okay, so I am trying to set up what I would assume is a pretty simple thing and It is driving me crazy! I am trying to get an MP3 (http://www.orangefreesounds.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Mario-jump-sound.mp3) to play when any of my doors are opened (not also closed) with a contact sensor on them. I have attached images of what I have done and nothing is happening when the event is triggered. (In the example I used a light to be able to simulate things quicker.)
I'm not even sure if this is supposed to be possible within Message Central. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! The Hubitat community has been very helpful in my transition from Smartthings!
@njanda You can get a Google Home mini to play the mp3? Mine don't come up in the list of speakers. Also, how do I view the logs for this app? Everytime I switch the trigger it does nothing and I can't find the logs to see what it did or didn't do.
You have to use a program called Cast-Web-API to expose the GH mini's as music devices as well. The native hubitat integration only supports TTS (spoken) announcements. But Cast-Web allows you to expose the cast functionality of the GH devices to Hubitat.
