Does anyone else use a Meross MSS310 smart plug? Is it still the case that we need to integrate it via Home Assistant, or is there something local to Hubitat, either Community developed or built-in (I could not see it on the compatible devices list)?
Just to add some context... I bought a 4-pck of the MSS310's almost 12 months ago and am only now starting to set them up... The purchase was off the back of some failures in Kasa Energy-Monitoring smart plugs (KS110's). I want to use the first one to monitor energy it's using to charge a tablet.
There's no built-in support for sure. These look like Wi-Fi only devices, not Matter over Wi-Fi, and Meross does not have a documented API for any other kind of integration. (From a quick search, it also looks like the Home Assistant integration you mentioned is not part of the platform but rather custom integration.)

Thanks @bertabcd1234 . Yes the HA integration I believe is through HACS, and although I did not find the same topic as you I did find the same drivers, which do not support the energy monitoring, and potentially my model of plug. I will look more into the HA route and bring them in using the custom Hubitat integration.
