The Meross MS605 is listed as a compatible device, but I have had no luck adding to my C-8Pro v2.5.0.135 system. The device commissions with my Google Home Wifi Pro router (it is the Thread Border Router). I can generate a pairing code. The Meross device begins to flash orange when I submit the code, but nothing ever appears in the Matter log file and there is an immediate "Pairing failed @ ReadCommissioningInfo with code 202 (Interaction Model Error)" error. Any ideas? Any success elsewhere?
Do a factory reset on the device, remove it from google and pair it directly with hubitat
@andy16, I had a thread in beta section for this issue, as a workaround, you can roll back to software version 2.4.3.xxx - pair the device using Matter code as normal then update to latest software release again.
I was heartened to read the release notes of v2.5.0.143 and v2.5.0.157 with a possible pairing fix for Matter devices and then additional refinement in 157, but it was not to be for my MS605. I factory reset the device. Added it back in through documented method, generated a pairing code and added it to Hubitat. Same issue. Anyone else have any luck? I am currently on a C-8 Pro on 2.5.0.157.
Did you resolve your issue?
No. The issue is still unresolved for me.
I concur. I was able to add the device on 8/1/26. I forgot to note the version that I was on, but it somewhere north of the v2.5.1.124 referenced here. @iEnam My device adds using the Generic Matter Motion/Light Sensor driver, so I only have the device with information in the Current State fields plus the two zones with their info. I note from your screenshot that you are using a different driver. Is there a more appropriate driver to use for the MS605 Matter sensor?
