I'm having trouble setting up the meross sensor in my C8. I've added it but can't do anything with it. It works with Alexa.
What am I missing?
Manually change the driver to one of the inbuilt Matter Motion drivers.
I believe you’re looking in the wrong place. Your screenshot appears to show the “preferences” tab as being the active one.
In the “device info” tab, there should be an option for changing the assigned driver.
ETA: Hub UI pages like this one are generally a lot easier to navigate on a desktop browser. Like the one in @kkossev’s screenshot.

Is there a way to decrease the length of detection? It's picking me up 3 feet before the doorway as I'm heading into the room.
Using the Meross app, there you can calibrate the sensor to your needs.
