I have 3 Mercator Double Outlets, 2 causing issues. After a period of weeks, the Device Network ID of the 2 Child Sockets listed in the Devices page changes to a value that renders them unable to be addressed and no change of status, just a continual question mark. It used to take me a couple of hours to re-pair the whole double outlet and its child outlets. The Device Network ID of the "Mother" doesn't change at will, so am still able to read volts/amps...ect OK. Recently I discovered the ability in the Devices/Device Info tab to edit the ID. Hooray, it then would take me one minute to fix the ID discrepancy. This week it all happened again, and when I went to edit each child's ID I found the "Edit ID" button has mysteriously disappeared!!! It still exists on the parent device but it is missing on the childs. Has there been a change to the functioning of the "Devices" child definition template to disallow this ability, that has slipped in on an update recently? I am using a "user" driver called "IKUU Mercator GPO with Power Reporting" by Richard Laxton 2021.
If it was a feature that has since been removed from Hubitat, I would really like it to be reintroduced ASAP. I cant believe it is the driver. I cant believe it is the Double GPO.
As these devices are not very common, I doubt that anyone else has come across this issue.
OR, am I just dreaming that it ever existed, at my age I am starting to doubt the grey matter.
