Memory leak?

Speaking of bug fixes, the update to 2.4.4.135 does not seemed to have fixed this on my C8 Pro.

Here are some graphs over the last few days. I've still got plenty of memory apparently, and my C8 Pro is obviously not straining at all. So I'm not too worried. A reboot resets it. But it would be nice to know what's causing this. I haven't added anything new since updating to 2.4.4.135.

Any thoughts on how I might run this down? Or is a memory leak still being looked at?

Where do the graphs come from?

The memory leak issues are still being worked on. Some appear to have been plugged, others are still causing some slow but continued memory loss.

If you wanted you could join the beta group and try out the most recent release from today which has more changes related to the memory issues.

Download and setup the Hub Information driver from HPM, then install the Watchtower App to get the graphs.

Thank you!

Thanks! That's good to know. I think I'll hang tight for now since I'm not really in any critical need. Releases usually come fairly often and I have auto reboot set up.

Those graphs come from Webcore. It has a graphing module that's pretty easy to set up and configure. Doesn't require any coding. Webcore is a built-in app.

I've also used Watchtower and it makes nice graphs.

Either Webcore or Watchtower will work great depending on your use case. I think Watchtowerl makes prettier graphs. But Webcore is more configurable and it's possible to graph more attributes. It just depends on what you want.

I'm lazy and use Hub-a-Dashery which is the seed for Watchtower.
The memory leaks are getting smaller in the beta group so stay tuned for the next public release. I think they have this under control.

Well... interestingly enough, after dropping for three days straight free memory seems to have stabilized.
