MCOHOME Z-wave Micro Swtich S242

We are testing theses devices from MCOHome in order to offer to customers.
1- MH-S220
2-MH-S242

1- The MH-S220 has an existing driver in Hubitat, working perfect.
2- The S242 is very similar, though it has 2 Gangs (2x10A). By using the 1 Gang driver, it works ok and can operate channel 1, but the childs are not created. What would be needed to modify the driver to add the 2nd child.

@jtp10181 have you seen this?

Any suggestions or modify a custom driver to accept this 2 gang device?
Thanks!!

Try this driver: Generic Z-Wave Plus MultiSwitch
It is listed as working for another dual channel Z-wave relay, so it may work.

If not, my ZEN Plugs driver is setup to detect and work on single channel or dual channel outlets, which use the same commands as a switch or relay. You would use the driver listed for the ZEN14 (standard NOT the MCP version). [DRIVER] Zooz Smart Plugs Advanced (ZEN04, ZEN05, ZEN14, ZEN15, ZEN20, ZEN25)

Hi @jtp10181 -
Thanks so much for the perfect directions!

Worked with both drivers, the Generic Z-Wave Plus MultiSwitch and your driver did the trick too!

Thanks a lot!

Not directly related, but might the MultiSwitch driver also work for "MCOHOME MR8-ZW"?

Possibly, if it reads the number of endpoints from the device and makes all the needed child devices. I am not sure how it works, it is a built in driver and those are not open source.

You would need to use something else to configure it, like my Universal Scanner if the device supports being scanned for the settings.
