MCO Home MH4 Floor Thermostats consuming lots of cycles

I recently got a Hubitat alert that my hub load is "severe." Upon checking my driver logs, I see that my three MCO Home MH4 floor heat thermostats are collectively consuming 71% of busy time...even though they are not currently being used (I've left them off for the summer). Each of these devices are setup in Hubitat as a Generic Z-Wave Plus Thermostat. Is there anything I can do reduce their impact on the system?

Personally, Busy Time, holds very little value. I’d be more concern about what the percentage of total available time is (multiple total device % by device % of busy) to see if that is really an issue. For example I have a device that says it is 41% of the busy time, but the entire busy time for devices on this hub is only 0.7% or 0.29% of the hub’s available uptime which isn’t worth looking into. Another note give the hub at least 24 hours after reboot before worrying about the numbers as they reset and you have startup overhead that needs to be evened out.

So, back to your problem what is the percentage of available time (and how long has the hub been up)?

Interesting! My hub has been up for 23 days and if I'm reading this right my apps have only been busy for 0.2% of that time and drivers for 0.1%. So why does Hubitat report my "hub load is severe"?

Sounds like a momentary spike for 5-20 minutes, also has been known to trigger immediately after reboot.
