MCO Home Floor Heat Thermostat

I have three MCOHome-brand MH4 line level thermostats that I use to operate my floor heat systems. They add to Hubitat as a non-specific device. If I recategorize them as General Z-Wave Thermostat I can operate them (set heating set point, etc.), but they have extra buttons for fan mode, etc., that a simple floor heat thermostat doesn't support. Is there a better device driver I should be categorizing these devices with?

After you click save did you click configure?

I had not. (I'm new to Hubitat!) When I click configure I get:

  • supportedThermostatModes : ["off","heat","energy save heat"]

Yeah the generic z-wave driver exposes all modes and attributes that that specific thermostat broadcasts. So everything that is available from it through z-wave is now on the device page. It's up to you to use whichever ones you need to use  Also you probably want to use generic z-wave plus thermostat.
