Manual running rules

greetings,
In my old home control software I could pick any rule and manually run it at any time. I have not figured out how to make that happen in Hubitatā€˜s rule manager. Anyone have any suggestions.

In the latest version you can open the rule and click on the Run Actions button.

For rules I want to run manually without opening the rule I make a virtual switch as the trigger, so I can operate it from a dashboard or by voice

oh good idea - did not consider that..

@thebearmay, I do not see a run actions buttonā€¦. I am running 2.3.2.132

Only button I see is Pause Action..

Basic Rule is different than the Rule Machine screenshot shown by thebearmay.

You could import the basic rule into Rule Machine if you want that additional button and it would be fairly easy to also add a virtual switch to RM. Or you could rewrite the current Basic Rule to add a virtual switch.
