Maker api bug [not]

once you enter a "URL to send device events to by POST"

in maker api there is no way to UN-enter it..
Putting in space blank etc does not remove it and each time you save it is still there and still sending erroneous events to this url even if you no longer want it.

It correctly no longer appears in the interface but if you have debugging on and hit save you will see it is still in the system and when events come in to your devices it is still trying to call that url.

the only way to remove it is to remove the maker api app, and reset up.. pain as all your urls obviously will change.

I'm not seeing this behavior at all. I entered a URL, hit Done. I can see it in the Settings on App Status page, and it creates subscriptions to the selected devices. Then I opened the app and removed the URL, and hit Done. The setting was gone, and so were the device event subscriptions. With no setting for it, it does not create the Event Subscription for the devices, and without that, it is unaware of device events,

Did you hit Done?

weird .. here is the url attempting to be called in the old logs, after i tried to ermove it multiple times..

obviously i dont want to try again as it took me over an hour to reconfigure the widget on my garmin watch with the new urls..

maybe the url is not being called. but i definately saw the logs show the url on save of the app even after removing.. can you see that.. maybe as you say the subscription is gone and its just some latent info hanging around.

Just look at the App Status page.

OK, this is not a bug, but rather a user mistake of some sort.

No, this doesn't happen for this app, or for any setting that is removed....
