Lux Konoz no reporting "heating" state correctly

@mike.maxwell

Mike, doesn't appear that the driver for the Konoz is reporting the operating state accurately?

I set the heating setpoint well above current ambient temperature.

After a few seconds, the thermostat showed "ON" (Heating Active) and the device page showed "pending heat".

After a minute or so the heat came on correctly. The thermostat still reported "ON" on the display, but the device page still showed "pending heat". I left in running a bit to see if it ever updated, but it didn't.

I took a screenshot of the logging which reflected some unhandled attributes, perhaps Lux changed something in the production units?

Edit: I also tried the "generic zigbee thermostat" driver, same results reports "pending heat' when it should report "heating"

Yes, that's possible, in any event I'll have a look at this.

Based on this post, this could very well be my issue as well. Pending cool is all I get....Although in my scenario, my cool never comes on and I did not wait the 5 minutes that Lux alluded to.

It seems like this is a little different as it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the operation of the thermostat, but rather how HE is reporting it's operating state.

BTW, I did find the "advanced" settings manual online which allows you to adjust the "pending time", the setting is called "minimum on/off" time to either 2 or 5 minutes.

Thanks Mike, fortunately it's a non-issue for the next 4 months or so for me as my system is heat only, however "Winter is always coming!" LOL

While your "looking into this" can you also address the battery state showing "-200" when running on c-wire?

Yeah I re-read your post. A little different for sure. I'm going to try again this weekend and wait 5 minutes for the 1st cycle. Maybe that's the key.

Looks like setting "98" will allow you to temporarily bypass the "Pending Cool' if you just want to test to make sure the cooling is working properly.

I'm flying home from Washington DC today and will try it this weekend hopefully. Of course it had to be setting 98 as it takes forever to get through them all lol.

There's actually only 17 options, it jumps up quite a bit as you go through them.
