Just picked up and installed my first Caséta Smart Hub with Pico Smart Dimmer Switches (P-BDG-PKG2W), but am running into an issue where Hubitat reports the Smart Hub as offline.
In addition, in my Lutron app (<Settings <Advanced <Intergrations <Connections), there is nothing listed, where I believe it should say connected to Hubitat.
Here's what I've done:
Followed Lutron installation instructions and added remote switch to Lutron app
Gave Smart Hub a static IP in my router
Added Lutron Integrator app in Hubitat
Created a new integration in the app, using the static IP
Added the Pico remote and a button
From Device List, found the button, and tested switch with no confirmed activity. Hub reports offline.
I've removed the Smart Hub and Lutron devices from Hubitat, as well as the Lutron Integrator app, rebooted both the Lutron Hub and Hubitat hub, and reinstalled the app and devices to no avail.
I'm not at all tech savvy, but can usually bumble my way through this, but am stumped on this one. Thank you for any help or suggestions you might offer.
Unfortunately, the consumer version of the Caseta bridge that comes in that package doesn't do telnet. To get telnet, you need the PRO2 version of the Caseta bridge.
I suppose it's not impossible those folks actually did get a PRO2 bridge in the package... With Amazon, you never know -- it's worth checking the label on your bridge to make sure.
I ordered a combo Hue motion sensor + 2 white ambiance bulb package a while back, and it came with full color bulbs instead. Depending on the seller, they may just be putting pieces together vs a pre-packaged package. Sometimes that can screw you, but sometimes it can be an unexpected win.
Five or six years ago, I bought a new Insinkerator. Box was perfect on the outside. On the inside the disposal came wrapped in Saran Wrap, with pureed food within.
