Lutron Telnet Integration Error in Logs

Seeing an error message in logs from the Lutron Telnet app:
java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method parse() on null object on line 80 (method parse)

Often appears in logs right after a dimmer has activated, i.e.:
rcvd: OUTPUT,40,1,0.00

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

What troubleshooting steps have you already taken to date?

Did this only appear after a recent change to the Lutron integration?

Did you add or remove any devices on the Hubitat or Lutron side?

The basics are always good

  • What model Hubitat Hub?
  • What version of Hubitat software is running on your HE hub?
  • Have you tried rebooting your Lutron SmartBridge Pro?
  • Have you tried rebooting your HE hub?
  • Have you tried rebooting your HE hub with the 'Show Advanced Options' and 'Rebuild Database on Reboot' both checked?

  • Can you reproduce the problem at will? This would be very helpful if you can identify what sequence of events triggers this error message.
