I have recently changed from Xfinity to Quantum and ran into a few issues that I've been able to solve myself and with help from the community...THANKS.
One item left for me to solve is a delay that was not present previously when using my Pico Remotes to control lights.
I am using the Lutron Pro Hub within Hubitat and the Lutron Integrator App. Both of the remotes that i have installed work, but there is a noticeable delay when hitting one of the buttons before the devices switches on, off, dims etc.
This seems to be a new issue since I moved over to quantum but not certain if its an issue with the Quantum service or an issue with my setup.
Any help diagnosing and fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
My problems were LAN-based, and resolved by rebooting my router/switches, and a shut-down of my hub/pull power/restart. (I had also power-cycled my Lutron hub.)
I'd bet my money that the router/switch restarts were what actually solved my problem.
Assuming you haven't changed settings on your hub, and you know you've made changes to your LAN w/your new service provider, likelihood that your issues are LAN-based seems pretty high.
Start by looking at your LAN/Telnet connection between your Lutron Hub and your HE hub - enable debug and descriptive logging for your Lutron Telnet device, open a live logs tab, and press your Pico buttons, See if the Lutron Telnet device has delays logging button presses that match the automation delays you're seeing.
In your hubitat integration, make sure that the ip matches your lutron hub. It's possible the new router created a whole different subnet and it's causing issues. If this is the case, set the network on your new router to the same as the old router as well as the SSID's and encryption password. This will likely solve your issue.
