I was trying to add a new Lutron Device and I typed something wrong. Now I get
Unexpected Error
An unexpected error has occurred trying to load the app.
Error: Cannot get property 'value' on null object
How can I repair this? Do I have to delete it and recreate it? No other way to edit the 1 typo?
Where did you make the type? Is it where you add the device to the list of devices? If so, you should be able to edit that list to fix the typo.
Yes, where you manually add the ID and names. But I cannot edit because when I click on Lutron Smart Bridge it immediately throws the null error.
Restore a backup from before you made the change?
Where would I get a backup from? NM. I found. We'll see.
Agree with @Slate. Simply do a restore. The typo though probably didn't do it. There was likely some other corruption in the hubitat database (restoring from backup cleans things up)
Gentlemen, the restore resolved the issue and I re-added the new switch. Thanks!
