Lutron Caseta Wired Dimmer vs Pico

In many places within my house I have double gang boxes - 1 holds a wired in Caseta Dimmer and the other holds a pico.

In the case of my living room for example. On one wall I have a wired dimmer with a pico and then on another wall I have a wired dimmer plus a pico. Each of the wired lights controls a different set of lights.

The problem is it is confusing to the family (maybe its me and the way I am setting up things).

Is there any way to have a wired dimmer control both sets of lights? For instance

Dimmer 1 (wired)
Dimmer 2 (wired)

I push and hold dimmer 1 button 1 and it turns on the lights for dimmer 1 & 2?

Ultimately I guess are the buttons on wired caseta dimmers configurable?

You can make one dimmer follow another in RM, @Cobrais also working on a newer version of his “One to many”. It will support dimmers.

What if you wanted the dimmer (wired) to activate a scene on the room? I wonder if that is possible - going to have to dig into that - i think that will work if I can use held events.

A wired dimmer doesn't report "held" events. It just turns on / off / level. You could have on fire a scene (or even level for that matter). But you'd need an RM trigger to do it. You turn the dimmer on, that fires the trigger, which pushes the Scene activation button.

Thanks Bruce!

‘One to Many’ currently does switches only but the next release (currently being beta tested) will control dimmers/lights too.
Only for dim level at this point.
I’ll look at adding colour later if there is enough call for it.

Will the new version allow one dimmer to follow another's Dim level?

Yes, that’s what is currently being tested
