Lutron Aurora

I got a Lutron aurora dimmer to control Tuya bulbs. Tried using room lighting app but no luck. I end up with creating a rule to switch on and of based on the switch device, and for the dimmer I created a variable and another rule to move the value of the Lutron dimmer to the level of the bulbs.

I assume there is an easier way to use the Lutron aurora.

Any advice ?

Well that device is meant to control standard bulbs that handle dimming by restricting the power to the bulb where as smart bulbs use dimming commands while being fully powered. You may be able to use button controller app to pass commands off to the bulb (I am not sure about this) but your way I think is best.

Check out the built-in Mirror app. Switch, level, and levelChange events are forwarded to the bulbs you associate with the Aurora.

hello. Is the official driver working properly? I have the levels working fine, but the switch on/off is random. Do you have the same problem?

I do have the same problem even with dimming, for the switch try holding the button. Sometimes it works fine

Thank you for answer. The official driver dimming does not work properly either. I use it as a custom driver made by a Hubitat user...

Any tricks in getting the aurora to register button presses? It paired fine but it doesn't register anything when I click or rotate it. Just shows 100 battery

Finally got it to work. Have no idea what I did. Involved taking the battery out while it was pairing and putting it back in.

I think I'm in the same situation. It seems to pair fine, it's displaying 100% battery, but button presses and dial spins don't do anything. I've tried the battery trick, and I've repaired it half a dozen times. Any more advice?
