I have two Aurora dimmers. So far I like what they offer, but I am seeing one problem with the device driver. These devices have the following capabilities :
of those the only thing I can use successfully from the device page or a rule is the button : pushed. That's the only capability that shows up in my logs when I click through the device page buttons. If I use the physical device everything gets logged: dim, push, on/off.
I didn't notice at first because my primary control is through the mirror me app. Which works fairly well. I'll save those concerns for another post.
Even with the mirror me app disabled the dimmer reports the turning of the dial as [digital] I would think that would still be a physical action as I was spinning the dial myself.
TL;DR @mike.maxwell please fix
