I bought a dewenwils td-300s power source that is wifi and matter. I open up hubitat to add it, everything goes through smooth but the very last part of reconnecting. Hubbitat see it, connectes it to network but final step is to reconnect and it hangs. I do not see it listed in the devices. Is there a work around in hubitat to add it? The app for device is usless and outdated. Can I manually add wifi devices somehow? I figured a matter device should be easy as the hubbitat supports it, see it, and has no issues with any other device I added. Should I upload some sort of log to be looked at closer? Edit I was able to VERY easily connect alexa to this device and works, but hubitiat is struggling even after I connected it to alexa that uses the same network, so something is off. I did not need to put in any credientials besides the qr code and within 2 min fully functional with voice commands with alexa. Can hubitat pull from alexa I know she pulls from hubitat to add devices but does hubitat have something similar of descovering devices?
Yes, check your hub’s logs to see if there is anything related coming up while you attempt to pair. If it is a Matter over Wifi device, then you can also include the matter logs. A screenshot of both at the time of attempted pairing would help the community and/or staff understand the issue.

That’s the right spot. On top, you will notice that you can see “Live logs” and “Past Logs”.
If you know the time you tried to pair the device, you can go to “Past Logs” and see if any are relevant, and if so, post them here the same way.
Matter devices can be shared with multiple hubs. You can pair with Alexa, then use the (11?) digit sharing code found within the Alexa app to add to Hubitat.
I typically like to pair to the device manufacturers app at least once to do a firmware update, if there is one. You could also share from there. I personally don't leave the device on the manufacturer app, I only have it paired with Hubitat whenever possible.
That said, a Matter Wifi device should pair fine direct to Hubitat.

I bought one of those last winter. I'm not a big fan of Matter but I couldn't find anything that had built-in zwave or zigbee, so I took a chance on this. It paired with HE with no issues at all.
Use the "Generic Matter Multi-Endpoint Switch" built-in driver. It will create a main device and three child devices. The main device turns all zones on/off at once.
I never tried to connect it directly to Alexa, or the manufacturer's app (if there even is one). Once you have it connected to HE, you could just use HE's Alexa integration.
