I had a bad hub and replaced it with a new one. I used a cloud backup to get the new hub in my network. Everything works fine, except that my ActionTiles does not connect with the new hub. Any ideas?
You should be able to leave your existing app on the hub in place. You will probably need to go through the auth process on Actiontiles again like if you were setting it up new. Actiontiles will need the new hubID to be able to talk to it via the cloud endpoints.
I dont use actiontiles so I am not sure of the exact process, it might be something from the HE app you have to click on, or possibly in the actiontiles settings.
You should be able to get it working again with all your settings in tact, so dont go deleting anything in haste.
To add to the above, reconnecting the two could be as simple as just opening the ActionTiles app on Hubitat and hitting "Done." Somehow, it needs to get the new hub ID; this depends on the app, and I don't know the internal workings of this one to say for sure (but it is all you'd need for many others). Worst case, you can certainly do as above, like it's a new hub.
As of now there is not a way to change the hub id that your Action Tiles panel is pointing to. I'm moving from a C7 to C8 hub and have the same issue. I emailed Alex at Action Tiles and he has been getting many requests for this since the C8 hub has come out, and stated that he will have to come up with a method to swap out hubs and may have something mid next week.

Following up from my comment last weekend on ActionTiles. I have not seen anything from Alex as of yet. A couple of days ago I searched for other solutions and found HubiVue. The nice thing about it is that it can run locally without a internet connection. After using it for a couple of days, I;ve decided to abandon ActionTiles and use HibiVue. It is very flexible and the developer is very responsive. There is a little bit of a learning curve to use some of the more advanced options for tile design, but I was able to get a 70 tile panel going with custom tiles in a day.
