I was trying to add a Zwave Plus lock. After many failures for it to join the network, I noticed I lost all of my Zwave devices from the database. I attempted to do a restore from last night, but they didn't return.
I did send them a message.
One thing I did was change the secure join for doors/locks to disable. That is what seems to of removed my Zwave devices from the database table. When I changed it back to enable, the Zwave devices repopulated into the table. Is this a bug?
Not sure if you are describing the same issue I had. If so, not a bug, poor UI labeling (in my opinion) and just as much my fault for not actually reading what was there.
The "enabled" / "disabled" - second drop down, is unrelated to the first drop down. So while I thought I was "disabling" secure join for locks garage doors I was actually requiring secure join only for locks and doors (first drop down) and simultaneously disabling my z-wave (2nd drop down). On disabling the z-wave, the items in the table are hidden.
