I'm not sure where this belongs, it may be more at home in the lighting section or in the Get Help section, if it needs to move let me know and I'll do so.
That said, a minor pain point for some time has been the two shower lights we have in the house, the code requirement is that they have to be enclosed shower lights, since they're directly over the two showers in the house. However they also need to be controlled from the HE rather than directly by the wall switch.
I'm currently running with a couple of Sonoff ZBmini switches, that get the job done, but they have a tendency to be unreliable if we have brownout or a full power outage. Which is pretty common in this neighborhood.
The last power glitch we had only lasted a fraction of a second, but it completely stopped one of them working, and I have no easy way to reset the ZBmini short of throwing the breaker in the garage, since it's enclosed in the ceiling.
Long story short, I'm getting kinda tired of this, and would like to change to a wifi bulb, and just haul the ZBmini out of the equation. Tasmota looks like a really obvious choice, but I can't determine from either the "Bulb by Type" or "Bulb by Socket" listings on the Tasmota compatible devices pager what I ought to get.
Any help / recommendations for a good 5.5 inch enclosed bulb that's flashable with Tasmota? I don't need dimming, color control or CCT, just a simple on/off will suffice.
Failing that, any WiFi bulb that I can control from the HE will do. I can find any number of enclosed WiFi bulbs on Amazon, but they're all from cheap Chinese manufacturers, and use either a smartphone app or the cloud for control. I need something that I can control locally from the HE.
