Looking for new lock Matter, Z-Wave or wifi

I have an Alfred DB2 lock. I liked it a lot. The lock I think has failed due to the weather and use. I was looking at another lock to replace it needed. I'm looking at durable lock with WiFi, Z-Wave or Matter that can work with and without the hub. But integration with hubitat is required. I don't need a key. What would the community recommend?

I'm switching to DB2S from another brand that is starting to fail. I picked up the zwave 800 module for it. Seems like a pretty decent kit.

ABS. Anything but Schlage.

I have the Yale assure lock 2 touch- zwave version. It’s the 700 series zwave module, works great in Hubitat with generic zwave lock driver. Also works on the Yale app but I never use it

I absolutely love my U400. If you're in an Apple household it's a no brainer.

I went with the Level Bolt, mainly due to compatability with the existing door hardware. For WAF (and my tastes as well... can't blame it ALL on her), anything that was huge and had a keypad or other non-aesthetic properties was a no-go from the start.

I bought it before Matter compatibility was released, so it wasn't integrated when I first got it, but I have it set up to unlock automatically when either of us arrives home, and it works like a champ (as long as geofencing is working, but that's another issue altogether).

Thank you all for your feedback. I haven't decided yet. Thank you very much for your input.

The DB2S does RFID so you can use key fobs and cards to speed entry. You can also use Zigbee 3.0. It can do wireless charge. Simple usb charging. Like your DB2 is supports Bluetooth. If you have other systems like a qolsys alarm panel the DB2S is supported there as well. Lock code manager also works.

I assume you're OK not having it integrated with Hubitat?

There's nothing wrong with my current Schlage Zigbee lock, but I've been eyeing the U400 for a while. I'm just not sure how I'd replicate some of the automations I have setup in Hubitat. I have a notification play on some of my Echo devices when someone unlocks the door using their code. If I can get that setup with the U400 somehow, I'd order one asap.

You can get that with the U400.

In the Apple home app, you generate a pairing code to bring the matter device into Hubitat. You then set it to use the Generic Matter Lock driver.

You can’t manage codes but you can lock/unlock and be notified.

Yes, but I notify on unlocking by specific people with their codes.

The DB2S is the same price as a U400. But you get more with the DB2S.

aah. can't get that from Hubitat, but you can in the Apple Home app.

You cant get that because you also don't use Hubitat.

but I did until this weekend? wtf dude.

OK. But again, how would I get Apple Home to announce that on my Echo devices? I don't use Homepods.

I announce - "Mike unlocked the front door lock at 1:00pm"

You can be notified via a push notification, not by voice.

And therein likes the problem. I need the voice announcements.

Kind of thread hijacking if you aren't the OP.
