No, unfortunately, I can't find NYCE in Europe. I do notice that many products supported by Hubitat are geared towards American devices, which makes sense since Hubitat is developed in the U.S.
I guess I'll have to stick with Hue, which unfortunately costs around $40 per piece
FWIW, the cool down period (motion retrigger) in the Sonoff motion sensors I linked to is adjusted based on the motion reset time.
Also, you can have them paired to HASS, but use them in Hubitat. There's an HA/HE integration called HADB that many of us use. And adjusting the motion reset time is trivial in HA using z2m.
That you can set the motion sensor timeout in Hubitat and it is working? In HASS, there was indeed an option to set the timeout lower, but the Sonoff did not accept that setting due to its internal settings.
Okay, but this model is not listed in Hubitat's support list. My apologies for asking many questions, but I understand that this one also works?
You register it as a "standard Zigbee device," and then it gets recognized and works?
I realize that I still have a lot to learn because I tend to stick to Hubitat's list. I don't quite understand how devices that are not officially supported can still function properly and continue to work.
A device will work as long as there is a driver for it. There is no list of "supported" devices. Compatible devices are ones for which Hubitat engineers have written a driver, and this driver is provided with the hub.
There are hundreds (thousands?) or devices for which community developers, like @kkossev, have written drivers. Hubitat permits the end-user to add any driver of their choice. The SNZB-03P works with a community driver. In this case, one written by @kkossev.
Hubitat Package Manager, about which you asked earlier, is just a tool to add a community driver (or app). It is also possible to add a community driver without using this tool.
So many motion sensors available with that same form factor. I can’t remember who makes mine but it’s not Tuya, or at least it wasn’t branded that way originally. It’s quite old. I think it’s 110° on mine, but when you look up the spec on the Tuya available today, they say 120°.
Hi there. just came across your post. I have a very similar looking motion sensor (could be the same). May Icheck the exact driver you are using?
I installed kkossev's Tuya Multi Sensor 4 In 1 , but unable to see where I can adjust the motion sensor's reset time. Would appreciate your guidance please. Thank you.
I am using the same 4in1 driver and do not have any ability to adjust reset time for motion. What is the use case that you need to adjust the reset time? Mine resets after 60 seconds.
Make sure your using the Sonoff/EWe Link device profile under "preferences"
