Logs - Question/Suggestion

When viewing "Past" logs I often find it easiest to click on a particular device to find the timestamp for a rule it's involved in ran...then clearing that view and scrolling all the way back down the log until I get that part of the log to see the steps around it to understand why something happened.

Is there any way to simply expand (remove the filter) and stay at the place in the log that you want to see? If not, this would be a REALLY handy feature.
