kwikset keypad disabled when i connect via zwave on hubitat
Keys will not even light up. Tries setting codes with app as well with nobluck
Could you provide some additional details? What model hub? What version of the platform? Is this the first time you're trying to include the lock or has it been online for a while?
This isn't a function that is controllable by the hub, sounds more like a battery or physical connection issue

This the first time connecting to the hubitat c7 with kwickset 620.. as for power / physical connection that is Not the case. When i disconnect and reset device it works, keypad lights upt and is able to lock/unlock. The. Once added to hubitat elevation c-7.
It seems as if kepad is disabled when i connect.
Can you post a screen shot of your zwave details page?
I believe the lock is probably a FLIRs device - which usually requires a beaming repeater close by. Do you have any z-wave repeating devices close to the lock?
I also noticed the Kwikset zigbee locks are on the official compatibility list but the z-wave locks are not. I also did a quick search of the forum and I don't see any other references to it. That doesn't mean it won't work, just that Hubitat has not tested it and there aren't any posts about it.
620xxx-ZW works fine with the Generic Z-Wave Lock driver - it's the 700 chip version of the 913.

Ah good news. Then we can probably get it working with a little finagling.
Pair it next to the hub and then install it in the door and do a ZWave Repair on it (or wait ~24 hours for it to work things out on its own).
