Ok let’s get back on track.

So my older switches aren’t listed here neither are the outlets I have in the kitchen. All of the older stuff is 3+ years old and probably not z wave plus. The switch I have closest to my door is listed though. I already have 2 aeotech 7 repeaters. One near my hub about 6” away and another in the 2nd garage (probably doesn’t help in the actual house). My mesh will probably take a hit here soon too as I’m about to replace two of my older switches with lutron dimmers to match the pico remote I Got to control my 2 basement light circuits. And as I type this i realize that might not be a good idea if I want a strong reliable mesh? I’m open to suggestions.

Well... if you're "open" to suggestions... then I suggest you stick with Lutron for lighting as you'll have a happier experience overall. If you still want to build out a strong z-wave mesh for sensors then look lower down the wall.... those outlets are prime for z-wave outlets to be in-wall/non-removable repeaters to form a good mesh. So are ZEN15 plugs that can handle 15A loads so you can plugin almost anything if nothing more than to be another repeater on the mesh.
