Lock Code Manager

Feature Request:
Add a window of time for a user. i.e., User 1 can access the lock between 8am-5pm.
Useful when you want to allow access during working hours only.

That would have to be a whole separate app and not what LCM does... There is one in HPM that can do that.

I ask because LCM does allow for user management based on day/date, so why not just add time too?
Also, I noticed that whereas I could create notifications on my Vera system for failed codes or battery status, I have not been able to find these options in the Notification app :-/
Are these available somewhere else or did I lose that functionality?

Battery status has to be an attribute provided by the lock in order to be displayed. This is done through the device itself on the device page not through LCM. You can use the notifications app to notify you of failures or battery status.

As to providing a time for codes to work, again, that's not something easily programmed. That would have to be a completely separate app. All LCM is doing is using available push techniques to push the codes to the locks. There is lockshare in HPM you can install to handle time based code sharing... (which uses LCM to push the codes I believe)

Thanks - I'm still new here so I'll check out HPM and the battery status on the device itself.

Hubitat Package Manager.... When you use notifications use the battery attribute. You can also set a global battery notification (all devices with batteries) to notify you at a certain threshold via Hubitat Safety Monitor

HPM plus BatteryMonitor and LockShare got the job done. Not quite as elegant as the Vera system, but far more customizable and (likely) reliable.
Thanks again :call_me_hand:t3:
