Has anyone tried one of these with the Chromecast integration? I'm looking for an open-platform for playing local media files, pre-recorded chimes/announcements, etc.
If it can do chromecast it can be used. I have a few vizio speakers that support chromecast and worked fine for tts. They're Vizio Crave 360's. Still have some for sale if you're interested in a non internet connected speaker

Also, any experience using the on board USB for local storage? It looks like it only supports WAV files, but i might be able to work with that.
If you have any left after this sale I would take one or two.
