Im looking for recommendations for a multifunctional switch/ button controller.
I'm needing something to control HSM and light all in one thats all locally controlled. I have a few virtual switches and a dashbord that work fine as long as the internet is up. Most of my devices are Zigbee, so I'll like to stay in that ecosystem if possible.
Thanks again for the help.
I use Lutron Pico's. They're fantastic.
Does it connect to HE or will I need a bridge?
You need the Lutron Pro bridge to connect the Pico and other Lutron Casseta devices to Hubitat.
I also have several picos and Casseta dimmers and love them. They work flawlessly!
I use Hue V2 Dimmer Switches connected directly to Hubitat for lights and heating. Top button toggles light, middle buttons as dimmers and the bottom button for heater control, could also be used for HSM functions.
For HSM functions I actually use the Aeotec Wallmote Quad with Button Controller and Rule Machine apps. It is zwave but has been very solid once set up. The only gripe I have is the buttons are not tactile (no click) so I have Nyckelharpa app audibly notify me via an Android tablet when HSM status is changed.
I'm not sure where you're located but Vesternet (UK) do a wall controller in 2, 4 and 8 button formats for Zigbee as well as a 12 button handheld.
Thank everyone.
