Have you found any good local options for battery powered cameras? I too have Arlo and recently switched from their awful geofencing to Hubitat modes and NR controlling the arm status, but I was interested in replacing it altogether.
I'm using Arlo -> ST Cloud -> HubConnect to manage. I also have some USB-powered Amaryllo 'robot' cameras which leave me wanting more. Cannot automate them in any way, unless you use smart outlets to cut the power. They can do RTSP, so I have been looking into a home server solution to both record, control, and automate. Does anyone do that?
If I could eliminate the cloud requirements for Arlo, I would be a lot happier. Perhaps if they could do RTSP as well.
