Is there any way to load a JAR from the groovy script for an app? There doesn't seem to be any way to get to a ClassLoader from the Groovy Sandbox that I have seen, which means that I would have to convert existing Java libraries I need in to Groovy in order to use them.
There is not and I suspect there never will be based on previous comments from the HE team. The short story is, security concerns which I think is valid.
