It can go on for several days, but I do not check logs on daily bases

yes. Simply create a notification based on the hub event. But more importantly, you need to figure out what's causing that load in the first place. It needs to be fixed.
I think I tried that in the Notification app, but I have to dive deeper
The reson was two Sonos players keeping on exchanging “what ever” “ device 1554 has 304 pending hub commands, consider disabling app/device” each coming up every 20 minuttes. The number steadily inkricing.

on that line (device 1554 in the logs) click on the warn icon on that line. Is it the sonos that pops up?
Yes it is, however commonly known, Sonos got alot of problems for the time being
FWIW I have not had this issue with the few Sonos devices I have integrated with Hubitat.
I think that an other problem with a heavy load generated by cocohue was the root cause.
It is also the first time in 5 years any of my 14 sonos have generated failures.
