Doing some firmware updates, and I have a ghost, that isn't a ghost?
It was shown twice on the Z-Wave settings page, multiple repairs, and then "remove" successfully got it out.
I did a full shut down from settings and removed power. But it's still showing twice (as above) when I go to add it back to rules/apps.
Do you also see the device twice under the device list? If so, you should be able to disable or delete one of them. The good one would be the one where its ID is the same as the Z-Wave ID.
Nope, it was there as device (95), but was removed. I've been changing all my S2 devices back to no security and doing firmware updates all day. I've had to shut down the hub and move it a couple of times, and that double listing still persists under Apps-->Dashboards.
If I add both "devices" to a dashboard, when I change the status of the physical switch, it's only reflected on one device.
Have you tried pulling the power plug (from the wall) for 30 or so seconds after a power down?
Yeah, every time I moved it was getting unplugged at the wall socket.
I missed the subtle difference in your suggestion above the first time around, Devices and Details are two different things, and I was solely focused on the Z-Wave details listing. It didn't dawn on me until after I re-read your suggestion that I could indeed delete the listing under Devices.
It's all good now. Time to fire up the UZB and git the only ghost I managed to create.
