Do you think this would work well? I am wondering if there is a way to use this as a presence sensor for the house so my family doesn't have to use a device.
I think it should work, because I use a Fingbox, which integrates with IFTTT, to detect when the maid is at home. And then use Hubitat's IFTTT integration to set a virtual switch while she's at home.
To detect family and frequent visitors, @jwetzel1492's iPhone WiFi Presence Sensor works well. It also works with Android phones.
Crap there is no API yet. It would be nice to use this as a way to sense if someone was home in the house.
