Lights keep triggering randomly and I can't find why

I have a group of lights (called Bench Lights) They keep turning on randomly. I have either disabled or removed all rules/apps that group but they still keep turning back on after approx 10 minutes.

I have a C8 running the latest software(beta 2.5.0.139).

The attached log does not have all events of the lights turning on.

Any ideas how to track down what is triggering the lights to turn on is most appreciated.

Look to the produced by column in your screenshot. Amazon Alexa is the culprit which is likely their Hunches feature that was turned on. Disable hunches in the Alexa app and problem solved.

@ritchierich Thank you for the help and suggestion. Australia never got Hunches fully rolled out with the same level of functionality here. They were restricted to notifications only unlike in the US.

Sadly there is no option to turn them on or off in the Australian Alexa app.

The log does show when I asked Alexa to turn the lights on at 6:13am and off at 8:47am but does not show the approx 15 times after that they turned on by themselves. I feel like the house is haunted

Well, something is turning them on...

1. Do you have your Hubitat hub integrated with any other external system other than Amazon Alexa? (e.g. Google Home, Apple Home, etc...)
2. What type of lights are these? Are they directly paired to the Hubitat hub via Zigbee or Z-Wave? Or are these lights connected to a Philips Hue Bridge and then integrated with Hubitat? Or are these WiFi lights (e.g. LIFX) or some other cloud-connected WiFi lights? The command to turn on these lights might be coming from an external system.

Does the device have an Auto on with timer option in its preferences?

I would suggest disabling the Amazon Echo Skill app on your hub for a period of time to see if the lights behave. This will rule out if some Alexa automation is the cause.

Are you looking at the Events tab for the device itself that is getting turned on? It should tell you what performed that action, even if it was not Alexa.

@ritchierich Thanks for this suggestion. I have disabled Alexa and all seems to be working as it should. Its very strange though as Alexa has not automations/routines at all so should never have trigger anything anytime.
