I have my outside lights scheduled on 7:15 pm off 6:30 am. I have a push notification to let me know when it occurs. If you look at screenshot of Push on Aug 7 6:29 am lights are off and 5:45 am lights are on the 5:02 lights are off and 4:58 are on. It is very random.
Hard to say, but first thing would be to look at logs for the rule.
If the rule is working then look at the lights and make sure there is not something else turning the lights on or off. Alexa hunches have been know to turn things on and off unexpectedly for some folks.
You can go to the device page for each light and look towards the bottom it will show you all the rules that device uses.
I tried looking at the logs for Aug 7 or 8th. I tried to do a filter for that day but it doesn't allow me to change the date only today. I am on past logs.
In @terminal3's post above, check the recommendations in his 2nd and 3rd paragraphs -- verify Alexa Hunches are disabled (if using Alexa), and cross-check the "In Use By" section on each devices's Device page to see what else may be issuing commands.
OK. I disabled the Alexa Skill from in use by. Let's see if that work. BTW How do I see past logs if the filter doesn't allow me to go back. The calendar pops up but only today. All the other days are grayed out.
Click “Clear Filters” when you see “null” in the selection box.
Make sure that you enable logging and Save in device preferences.
You get that “null” when you click on the “log” icon in a device or app that doesn’t have any log entries.
