I currently control my lighting in my kitchen and living room with simple lighting controls by only having them turn on via motion in certain modes. When the mode is set to movie (Via a virtual switch controlled with alexa) the lights wonāt turn on. The issue is now that I want the lights in the kitchen to turn on to 5% when thereās motion in the kitchen and mode is movie, but I canāt seem to find a way to do this? Is there a way to replace what I have now with better automation?
Try using Motion Lighting instead of Simple Lighting. It has the ability to use per-mode settings. For example, here's one I have that turns the kitchen lights off and on: 100%/5000K during the day, 30%/2900K at night as a nightlight, and no automation during the evening, when I want the lights to stay as they are. "Kitchen Auto Lights" is a virtual switch I use to disable the automation if it's a sunny day and I don't really need the lights on.
