I have 8 Lightify bulbs, including one color temperature bulb. All seem to work fine using the Generic Zigbee Bulb device type, but frequently their on-off state does not show up in either the dashboard or the Device Status pages when they are controlled by Rule Machine. I can control them by dashboard or Device Status page and the state does change.
Even refreshing the bulb from the Device Status page does not update the state. I’ve only noticed this behavior in the last few days, so maybe it’s from one of the last two updates.
I am seeing the same behavior; when RM turns on the light, the dashboard and device page does’t show the change. If I turn it on by voice command, the device page and dashboard on/off state does get updated. Weird… and even weirder, I noticed that the list of devices for these bulbs shows the correct ‘Type’ (Zigbee White Color Temperature Bulb) but the ‘Source’ shows ‘Deprecated’. And the device page shows shows the type for both of them as ‘Aeon Home Energy Meter’ which I did not set them to (it also happens to be the first selectable driver in the drop down list of drivers). Time to play with another driver choice; I see Generic CT bulb (dev) in the list which I don’t recall seeing before.
Edit: Changing to that driver seems to solve the on/off status display with RM issue.
