Light Status incorrect for zigbee lights

My outside lights are on and HE is reporting them as off which is throwing off my automation. This has been an issue for a few weeks. I have a ticket with support but I am not sure why the status is incorrect. Is there anything I can do to refresh the zigbee light: Sylvania lights (floods and gardenspots mostly).

My first thought is that the updated status didn't make it's way back to the hub, which may mean that you need to add a repeater or two to strengthen the mesh. As a short term workaround, you could check to see if the driver supports a status refresh command and fire it off at the start of you automations to update the status - doesn't solve the real problem, but...

Thanks for the reply. I have iris plugs all over the house so it isnt a mesh issue. In fact I moved over from ST and didnt have this issue. I just manually clicked configure in each light and that reset the status but I do not want to do that each time.

Can i run the status refresh (i am using the generic RBGW driver) in webcore to a global variable (group of devices?

Depends on how you have your piston setup, but you should be able to do a with {device list} do refresh

I'll try that. It still doesn't make sense why the status are only not working on HE with the same setup as ST (hubs on the same location, same mesh) and HE can turn them on and off, they are just not reporting correctly. The configure option only worked in the moment.

I have the garden spots and have been using the Advanced Zigbee RGB driver without any issues.

I tried that and it didn't work well. I will try again. Do you have any other osram/sylanvia lights?

I have replaced most of the A19 rgbws with Hue, but still have 5 Flex XL light strips and 13 recessed rgbw lights that I have never had an issue with. I actually switched back to the Generic zigbee rgbw driver for most of them because they work reliably with that driver as far as reporting the correct state. I use groups for most of them. I was using the Generic Zigbee RGB driver with my garden spots and never had any problems. All but 2 of my Sylvania Smart+ are the newer Ledvance lights which use a different zigbee chip than the Osram. The new ones are more reliable, but the Osram should still work.
