LIFX color bulb is turning on with color change

I have two RM 5.1 rules that change the color temperature of a pair LIFX color bulbs based on time of day. Either firmware 128 or 130 has introduced a bug that turns on the bulbs with a color change action. Previously the color change occurred without turning on the bulbs.

Are you using the new built-in LIFX drivers? Also I am wondering if the new Room Lighting app would support better control of the lights.

I'm using the built in driver. Now I'm wondering if I had this working as I thought. There is no color pre-staging option in the driver. I did just take the new Room Lighting app for a spin and I don't see any new capabilities there that are not available in rule machine.

It looks like this is being addressed in this thread. Added presetColor and presetColorTemperature to Inovelli and LIFX bulb drivers. Issue

I did resolve this. "preset color temperature" is available as a "custom action" for dimmers. That works for the Lifx color bulbs without turning them on.
